Our commitment
SpectroForensicLab is committed to serving everyone equally, including people with disabilities. The site is built so that it can be used comfortably, independently and with dignity.
Conformance level
The site was built in accordance with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG guidelines at level AA. We also followed WCAG 2.2 at level AA during development.
What we did
- Semantic structure: headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers can navigate the content.
- Full keyboard navigation, a clear focus indicator, and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Colour contrast at level AA, with high-contrast and light-background display options.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Language and direction set on every page: Hebrew right to left, English left to right.
- Text alternatives for figures and charts; decorative elements are hidden from screen readers.
- The site respects the operating system's "reduce motion" setting, and animations can be stopped.
- No time limits, flashing content, or audio and video that play on their own.
The accessibility menu
On every page, the accessibility button at the top lets you make text larger or smaller, switch to high contrast or a light background, highlight links, switch to a readable font, increase text spacing and stop animations. Settings are saved in your browser only.
Browsers and testing
The site supports current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and mobile.
Known limitations
- The analysis-layer figures and charts are images. Their content is described in the alternative text and in the caption under each figure.
- External services the site links to, such as WhatsApp, are outside our control, and their accessibility is set by their operators.
Accessible service
Most of our service is provided remotely: by phone, email and video call. You can ask for any adjustment that helps you communicate with us, and we'll gladly help.
Found a problem?
We'd like to hear about it and fix it. To help us, tell us the page, the problem, and the browser or assistive technology you were using.
